Supplying their “anything goes” attitude and unique blend of bluegrass-driven music, Yonder Mountain String Band will take The LC stage on Feb. 1. Releasing their debut album, “Elevation,” in 1999, the band his since played at the legendary Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, on the Bonnaroo stage and even opened for Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention in Denver at Mile High Stadium. Now they’re bringing their their high-energy show to the Arena District.

Yonder Mountain String Band cites influences ranging from classic bluegrass and punk rock to early 20th century composers and alternative rock bands to craft their contagious brand of music.
