Gordon Biersch
First stop is the brewery and restaurant Gordon Biersch.
Gordon Biersch’s variety of authentic German lagers is always crafted on-site by the brewmaster, using only malted barley, hops, yeast and pure, filtered water. As for food, the kitchen serves an extensive American menu with bold flavors like its legendary garlic fries, seared Ahi tuna and Kobe black and bleu burger. A billiard area adjacent to the bar provides an excellent gathering place, while the outdoor patio is the perfect relaxing spot for a brew and a mouthwatering dish as the temperatures heat up. Don’t miss the Gordon Biersch drink and appetizer specials beginning at 3PM Monday-Friday.

R Bar
Your next stop on the virtual bar crawl is the neighborhood hockey bar, R Bar.
Known as the official bar of the Columbus Blue Jackets, you’ll find R Bar packed with hockey fans any night the Columbus Blue Jackets are on the ice. Patrons also head over for the sports bar atmosphere all year round, with plenty of TVs inside to catch the big game. Don’t forget to check out the patio while you grab a beer and fill up on your favorite appetizers and entrees like potato skins, buffalo chicken pizza or a cheddar, bacon and jalapeño burger. The Three-Legged Mare
Third up is the Arena District’s resident Irish pub, The Three-Legged Mare.
Featuring an extensive whiskey and scotch menu and an impressive draught and bottled beer selection, this locally owned pub in Downtown Columbus doesn’t disappoint. Just steps from Nationwide Arena, The Three-Legged Mare also boasts authentic Irish fare, such as Shepherds Pie, Dublin Coddle and its famous hand-battered One & One.
