The Columbus Blue Jackets have brought back Winter Park presented by Worthington Industries and we think it it calls for a skate in the park!
Winter Park will run now though Feb. 21, 2016 at McFerson Commons, south of the arena.
The NHL-size rink will be open for 31 days of public skating, hockey and other events.
The rink has bleacher seating for about 500 people, and there is a skate rental tent and heated locker rooms.
It will cost $5 to skate, including rental. A complete schedule of public sessions will be announced closer to the park’s opening.
Winter Park also features a large heated tent that will serve as a hub for weekend entertainment and food and beverage service, and will feature a replica Blue Jackets locker room. The park also has some fire pits located to keep hands warm!
A video board near the rink will show Blue Jackets games on weekends.
